Essential Oils & Aromatherapy: What are they?
A quick Google search tells us that essential oils are plant derived oils that possess the odor and other characteristics of that plant. The plant oils are extracted from seeds, bark, flower, root, leaves and other plant parts and then distilled to separate the oil from water. This produces a highly concentrated oil which can be used in a variety of ways. That's where aromatherapy comes in. It is widely thought that the act of inhaling the aroma produced by essential oils may provide users with a multitude of benefits, including but not limited to:
-Improvement in skin ailments,
-Reduction of pain,
-Reduced appearance of cellulite,
-Fighting household germs and viruses.
